If you're feeling inspired or excited by what you've read over the preceding pages, you might like to give up some of your valuable spare time and help Altered Vistas in their coming productions. There are a number of ways you can do this depending on the talents and interests that you have.

Actors

We are constantly on the look out for good actors, male and female, young and old, amateur and professional. If you can do convincing impersonations of any of the Doctors, or any of the companions, then that’s great too, but there are plenty of other parts and pretty much any accent can be accommodated. You might even sound like someone from the world of Doctor Who without realising it! There is also some limited need for people with narration skills.

It doesn't matter where you live either. All voice recording is done in the privacy of your own home using a microphone connected to your computer. Even the standard desktop microphone that probably came with your computer is generally adequate. The files are then sent via      e-mail and noise reduced, edited, given the correct acoustic and dropped into the finished soundtrack here.

If there are no specific parts available, you can still contact us on the above e-mail address. If we are interested, we will then ask for an audition piece. This can be anything, and need not be Doctor Who-related, just something that demonstrates your abilities. Just record it by the method detailed above and send it to us. We'll let you know as politely, constructively and quickly as possible if we can offer you a part in a forthcoming production. Several of our current actors got into one of our productions by submitting an audition this way.

All actors who feature in Altered Vistas projects will naturally receive a credit in the end titles, plus a mention on our About Us page, with photo if desired, and, more importantly, a free copy of the production. Perhaps that could be a useful addition to your CV or just something fun to try?

Dubbers

We are currently looking for additional US and UK dubsites. If you have all of our productions (including audio releases) and would like to put your name forward and become a part of the AV team then please get in touch.

Bonus Features

We are always on the lookout for high quality short films, interviews and animations of general interest to Doctor Who fans that could be included as bonus features on our productions. If you have made something that you think might fit the bill, please get in touch and we’ll see if we agree with you.

All accepted submissions will receive a free copy of the completed VCD as it is released plus a mention on our Who’s Who page, if you want it. Not to mention our eternal thanks for helping us out with those pesky bonus features!

Equally if you have footage of a Doctor Who event or exhibition, or even a collection of photographs that you think might be of interest to other Doctor Who fans, then why not drop us a line on the above address and we’ll see if we can put something together that shows your material at its very best.

Additional Assistance

If you have access to original scripts or story breakdowns of unmade Doctor Who stories, and you don't mind sharing a copy, then we would love to hear from you. Credits will, of course, be given where requested, as will a special mention on our Who's Who page, and you will also naturally receive a free copy of the finished production for your collection.

Of course, if you have a talent not mentioned above which you think could be put to good use on an Altered Vistas project, then why not get in touch? You might just be lucky.
